Romance novels with a first copyright date or first North American printing date of July 2016 through June 2017. Entry Fees: · NJRW Members: $25 for first entry and $15 for subsequent entries · Non-NJRW Members: $30 for first entry and $25 for subsequent entries Categories: · Best First Book: any romance novel from a first-time author not previously published in book ­length romantic fiction, regardless of publishing medium. · Contemporary Romance: Short: Novels set from 1945 to present that focus primarily on the romantic relationship and are between 40,000 and 56,000 words in length. · Contemporary Romance: Mid-Length: Novels set from 1945 to present that focus primarily on the romantic relationship and that are between 56,000 and 84,000 words in length. · Contemporary Romance: Long: Novels set from 1945 to present that focus primarily on the romantic relationship and are 84,000 or more words. · Historical Romance: Novels set before 1945. We hope that this will be an opportunity for authors attending our conference to connect with author services professionals. We are aware that many authors do double duty as author service professionals. If you are just such an author, we would be thrilled if you would consider showcasing your business at our event. However, spots are filling up fast! If you're interested in being part of the Expo, you'll find all the information you need below. Each author service provider will be assigned a table in the ballroom to highlight their business. These tables are approximately 3-4 feet long. During the event, you can network with potential clients.
