Hi all, I'm also a member of the Vancouver chapter of RWA, and I thought, just in case anyone was in the Vancouver/Burnaby area next week-end, we're hosting a fantastic workshop that's open to the public: November 20, 2010 Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch present "The Business of Being a Writer" The workshop schedule: 11:00 AM – 12:30 pm "Where Writers Live: The Road to Making a Living and the Signposts Along the Way" 12:30 – 1:15 pm Lunch (pot-luck lunch, guests are welcome to contribute and participate) 1:15 – 2:30 pm "How to Sell" 2:30 – 2:45 pm Coffee (provided) 2:45 – 4:00 pm "The New World of Publishing from Traditional Publishers to Electronic Publishing and Print on Demand" Location: Burnaby United, 7591 Gray Avenue, Burnaby ***Pre-registration is a requirement.
