Good news and bad news. I've been offline for a bit b/c my mom was ill.  She passed on May 3. I haven't been writing, but I am back at it today and it feels great. The good news is that when I pitched online in Feb for KissPitch on Twitter an agent requested the first 25 pages. She read those and said she "loved my first pages and premise and wanted to see how  my voice and characters develop." So she requested 50 pages. Fingers crossed. I hope you all have been having GREAT writing days!   

Just rejoined and am resolved to stop lurking and start communicating. So hi there.

Just got word that Mint condition came in Third in the Single Title cagegory in the MORWA Gateway to the Best contest. I keep hoping for a first, but the best part is the great feedback yuget from reviewers.

Got good news. HOWLIN HEARTS won the 2012 BEACON paranormal category for unpublished manuscripts. AND I got a full request from one of the final round judges. Woohoo! Progress!

Good news! My paranormal romance, Howlin Hearts, finaled in the FCRW Unpublished Beacon. I'm doing the Happy Feet dance.

Woo Hoo, I volunteered to help with RWA2012, and on the last day got picked to get a free registration for next year! Love it.

Um, is anyone having problems seeing the forums when they're logged in? I've paid my renewal (and it looks like it's been processed, because I see the expiry for 2013) and it's not April 1, so I'm not sure if this is at all related to the renewal system, or if it's just me? When I'm logged in, I see none of the forums--it's just one blank page. If I try to go into the forums directly, I get a permissions error.

Some goooooood news! My novella, The Stubborn Dead, made RT Book Magazine's '2012 debuts not to miss' list! (And I mentioned RWA Online in one of my answers.)

Just signed contract with Total-e-Bound for One Night in a Bar - yay!

Just found out I finaled in the San Francisco RWA Heart-to-Heart constest. I'm Jazzed! Moving on to final round in the Contemporary category!

My novella, "I Believe," is now available at Amazon and AllRomance. It's getting five star reviews!!!

Got the results from my first contest entry. I didn't place in the top three, but got close. Great comments and reasonable criticism.

Just got galleys for The Beast's Redemption. Hoping to have a chunk of time to go through it tomorrow.

I have two notebooks full of storyline. I just have to transfer it to the computer in coherent writing. Its coming along, which Im excited about, but not fast enough for where I want it to be!
